Rev. Cindy M. Wu is co-founder and Director of Diaspora Ministries of Mosaic Formation and Co-director of Diaspora Network. As a “pastor to pastors,” her ministry focuses on serving leaders of underserved and immigrant communities. For fun, she enjoys cycling, reading, and exploring global cuisine.

Dr.Yaw Perbi
Dr. Yaw Perbi is a physician, pastor and principal at the global executive education company that bears his name—Perbi Executive Leadership Education (PELÉ). As a medical doctor, he has practiced medicine in both his home country, Ghana, and as a military captain with the United Nations Operation in Cote d'Ivoire. Yaw served as pastor of the Montreal Chinese Alliance Grace Church in Canada for four years, an experience of which he humorously says, “only God can call an African to pastor an English-speaking Chinese church in a French city, in North America!”
Until recently, he served as president of International Student Ministries Canada for eight years and is now the founding International Director of a multi-agency consortium of catalysts, coaches, connectors, consultants and creatives known as Kwiverr, providing thought leadership and catalyzing movements among internationals to ‘finish the finishables.’ Kwiverr has since catalyzed over 1,600 church plants in Southern Asia and has formed and incubated Pan African International Students (PAIS) as well as the African Centre for Mission Mobilization and Research (ACMMR), which he is Interim Director of.
Yaw is the founder and Global CEO of The HuD Group, championing holistic leadership development in 25 countries on all six continents over the last two decades, with impact in nearly 100 nations. Dr. Perbi's 25 books include Amazon bestseller Thinking Outside the Window, the groundbreaking Africa to the Rest and deeply convicting Disciple Ship. He's physically served in 65 countries and been the toast of media groups worldwide including CNN, the National Press Club (Washington DC), VOA, CBC and BBC.
Dr. Yaw Perbi is a John Maxwell-certified speaker/trainer/coach and holds an advanced degree in global leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary, USA. He is a Fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative and the Aspen Global Leadership Network, a member of Breakfast Club Africa, and a Lausanne Movement global catalyst. Dr. Perbi has served on various strategic boards, including Jews for Jesus Canada and Send Africa Network. Yaw is enamoured with his economist-entrepreneur wife, Anyele, and their seven delightful children. They make their home between Montreal, Canada and Accra, Ghana, describing themselves as “transnationals for the sake of the missio Dei.
Dr. Renita Reed-Thomason
Dr. Renita Reed-Thomson is the founder and president of Discipling Marketplace Leaders. She describes herself as a “Dutch-Canadian-American-African,” but ultimately, Renita is a citizen of Heaven as a child of God.
Dr. Reed-Thomson has lived and worked in Africa since 2005 and loves the important role that business plays in the flourishing of the earth and longs for every church to teach work as worship. Dr. Reed-Thomson has her BA in Psychology, an MBA in Sustainability, and a PhD in Sustainable Development. She is the proud mother of Hannah Reed and Noah Reed and the wife of Michael Thomson. Dr. Reed-Thomson currently lives in Grand Rapids, MI, when she is not traveling and working across Africa.
